Vanmorgen stapte ik in de trein van Washington DC naar Philadelphia, een treinreis van twee uur. Ik miste daar -dankzij vertraging van Amtrak- de aansluiting op de enige trein van de dag (!) naar Pittsburgh. Enige oplossing: terug naar DC en vandaar een andere trein nemen! Dus nog eens twee uur later was ik weer in DC, waar ik een uur moest wachten op een andere trein. Nog eens acht uur later arriveerde ik (zojuist) in Pittsburgh.
